Janco’s Charter Flight Gets Off The Ground

Janco Holdings Ltd (Stock Code: 8035.HK) announces that the first charter flight of the group started operation on 6th January. Result of an unprecedented partnership between Janco, S.F. Airlines and Guangxi Airport Group, the charter flight opens a new chapter in Janco’s history of progression.

The aircraft, a B737-300, will be flying between Dhaka, Bangladesh and Nanning, China. It will not only form another linkage between the two countries, but also signify the resolve of the three players to forge Nanning into a key international logistics and communication center, driving economic development in Dhaka, Nanning and all approximate regions. This is a salient testimony of Nanning’s critical role as the Chinese gateway towards the west under the Belt and Road Initiative.

“This is only the beginning. We will continue to bring in more, larger aircrafts and develop new routing options for the market. Our experience and knowledge in the Asia-Pacific region grants us tremendous advantage in this undertaking.” Stated by Mr Clarence Cheng, Chairman of Janco Holdings Ltd.

The aircraft is scheduled to fly 3 trips a week between the two locations, and will enable Bangladesh to import textile, garment, accessories and electronic products through an efficient channel, while exporting perishables and garment back to China
