Janco Fulfills Corporate Social Responsibility and Supports Disadvantaged to Combat COVID-19 Epidemic

21/02/2020

In response to the current COVID-19 outbreak and obstacles in procurement of protective gears and equipment, Janco leveraged its network built over the years and successfully sourced and shipped quality and safe surgical masks back to Hong Kong.

Apart from supplying face masks to our own staff and selling to general public via our 35plus.hk webstore at minimal profit, Janco is also concerned about the disadvantaged groups and proactively contacting and arranging face masks donation with different non-profit-making organizations. As of today, Janco successfully donated face masks to the organizations listed below:

– Hong Kong Caritas (Hospitals, Elderly Services, etc.)
– Po Leung Kuk
– The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation
– Hong Kong Mutual Encouragement Association
– Spina Bifida Support Group of Hong Kong
– S.K.H. Holy Carpenter Church District Elderly Community Centre

Janco is inspired to know our donation campaign helped Spina Bifida Support Group to reduce risk of infection in their daily operations and trips to hospitals. We hope the campaign can relief the stress of others organizations in gathering supplies, aiding the disadvantaged and facilitating epidemic prevention on social level.
